Hemos desarrollado una tapa especial para ser usada en los tubos de las horquillas. No es necesario llevar siempre en la bicicleta el pesado mecanismo expansor de la araña. Puede ahorrarse hasta 30 g, instalando en su lugar nuestra tapa de potencia, diseñada para ser fijada en la zona del tubo de la horquilla más sensible a la presión ejercida por la potencia.
Fitting
Adjust headset as usual. Tighten the stem bolts and remove the adjusting mechanism. Now loosen the upper bolt only, and fit our plug, insert the tubular part into the fork tube and tighten the upper bolt again. If you need to readjust the headset at a later time simply, undo the bolts, take the plug out, fit the heavy mechanism again and proceed as usual. After adjustment replace the heavy mechanism with our plug, keep the heavy part in your toolbox, not on your bike.
The plugs are made of two parts, which are glued together. While this construction is sufficiently strong we still recommend pulling them out of the handlebar with care, if possible while rotating them at the same time.
Pedidos
Algunas horquillas de carbono tienen una sección interna ovalada. Mida el diámetro interior en diferentes lugares y calcule el valor medio. Por favor, tenga en cuenta que el diámetro interior del tubo se reduce en 0.1 mm cuando la potencia es apretada. En la mayor parte de los casos no necesitará usar el anillo de goma, la tapa quedará suficientemente fija por la fuerza de apriete de la potencia. Si la sección interior del tubo es muy ovalada, puede limar los lados más gruesos para poder introducir y fijar la tapa.
